Gabriella Ludwig is a production agronomist at Weiland Farms. With a diverse agricultural crop production background, Gabi brings nearly a decade of experience in various sectors, including seed production, ag retail, ag chemical and academia.
As our crop production and management lead, Gabi is responsible for the agronomic management of corn, soybeans, and proso millet at Weiland Farms. She brings a thorough understanding of all phases of crop production and management, as well as an eagerness to explore new methods. From agricultural production to agronomic management practices, Gabi provides a technical viewpoint and comprehensive analysis of crop health and effective crop disease management strategies. This results in achieving optimal crop yields and productivity for the farm.
Behind the scenes, Gabi’s work helps Weiland Farms drive exciting and progressive change in agriculture. Her expertise in agronomic land management, research, planning, documentation, and record-keeping has enabled the farm to participate in new product trials, environmental programs, and money-saving incentives.
Gabi is a strong advocate for gender equality and inclusivity in agriculture — and as a woman in a male-dominated field — brings a confident and controlled approach to her work, consistently delivering outstanding results and fostering innovation.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy from Iowa State University. Midwest-born and raised, when she’s not working on the farm, you might catch Gabi rooting for her alma mater — “Go Cyclones!”
